Common questions
Does using an agent cost more?
No. Premiums are set by the carrier and filed with the state, so the price is the same whether you enroll directly or through us. Insurance companies pay agents; you don't.
Can I enroll online without talking to anyone?
Yes. Each quote tool on this site lets you see plans and enroll on your own. If you get stuck, call us and we'll pick up right where you left off.
When can I sign up for a Marketplace plan?
Open Enrollment runs each fall starting November 1. Outside that window you need a qualifying life event, such as losing other coverage, moving, marriage, or a new baby. Tribal members can enroll any month of the year.
I'm turning 65. When should I start?
About three months before your birthday month. Your Initial Enrollment Period is seven months long, and starting early gives you time to compare plans without a gap in coverage.
